European Commission announces Young Leaders to debate global issues at the European Development Days

Sixteen young people aged 21 to 26 from across the globe have been invited by the European Commission to take part in the Young Leaders Programme at this year’s European Development Days (EDD 2017). The Young Leaders Programme aims to enrich the debate on the future of international cooperation and development by providing a platform for these young, bright talents.

The 16 young leaders have been chosen for their expertise, innovation and commitment to international cooperation. They will share their unique experiences with EDD 2017 participants in Brussels on 7- 8 June.  Chosen among over 600 applicants, the young leaders are all actively engaged in development and social projects which aim to implement and develop the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in their countries.
